For a long time, this domain was a traditional technical blog. It held practical notes about Microsoft infrastructure, virtualization, clustering and the problems I encountered while building systems.
A useful past, but a different present
The old posts still have value, so they will remain in the archive with their original dates. The new site has a wider purpose. Infrastructure is still here, but so are AI, automation, engineering strategy, homelab experiments and the workflows connecting them.
The goal is not to publish often. The goal is to publish things worth finding again.
A place for finished and unfinished thinking
Some ideas deserve a full article. Others are better as a short note, a perspective on current news, or a lab entry that changes as the experiment develops. Making room for all four removes the pressure to turn every useful observation into a definitive guide.
What comes next
I will start with the subjects already on my desk: practical agentic workflows, local inference, platform engineering and the operational side of AI. The archive will return gradually, cleaned up but not rewritten to pretend it was published today.
